thought lives matter, and so do writing lives for that matter. both are entwined in a double helix 🧬of waxing nostalgic + fresh introspection up in here, up in here. I’m about to loose control up in here, up in here.
this is a personal niche-webpage I lovingly hand crafted using the building blocks of cyberspace. I needed a simple space on the line (thank Vince Vaughn for that priceless gem) to pontificate all of this (all of me). it is my sweet everything + my beautiful nothing. trying to partake in the indie.web movement that’s happening right now (also not happening perhaps). it is the underground of the internet (and also not since it’s being widely received). what once was were abandoned pages/blogs/sites that told fragments of people’s lives. some deeply personal + others unabashedly shallow. I’m somewhere between these two extremes that’s my sweet spot I’m living it up in.
this is me on a rainy day indoors writing in my sketch journal, wondering perhaps what to even write about. I’ve got a glass of wine and am sufficiently caffeinated. the gray canopy of a sunless day inspires me to tarry indoors and to get in that creative ecstasy that comes with doing and not merely living in my own thoughts. sometim
welcome y’all to spike’s urban hang suite in the deep of cyberspace. this being a personal niche homepage (as we all know that’s also a vanity page). right off of route 66 on the information superhighway. it’s a sustainable tiny home smartly furnished and well maintained (usually).
considering I don’t do anti-social media much hardly I decided to put up my site for shits + giggles. why not right? the indie web is still very much in its infancy and slowly spreading. I’ve been on neocities but found it was lacking. just a bunch of kids trying to resurrect the past. but while the retro web was quite overpopulated with bad/horrendous sites there were many that set the golden standard. K10K.net, design is Kinky, pixelsurgeon, 2advanced, gmunk, eneri.net and many more I found inspired me back when. besides this I’ve always kept a presence someplace, my own private space nobody knows about. after all I’m a secret agent I have to remain underground and off grid mostly.
what you can expect to find: mostly musique, writings, art, design, reviews about random stuff, photos (not a ton, but enough to be considered Asian lolz), projects and such. I’m a poet so there’s that as well.
